Sorry world!

I told you this old blog would fall by the wayside super-duper quickly, didn't I! Well, whatever, here I am, so soak it up while it lasts!!!
Hmm, well, we are on Christmas break for school right now! Woohoo! In other words, seventh grade is HALF WAY OVER!! But it has been a pretty good semester, so yay! I got ALL A's for the first and second quarter, and even bigger I got in to Honor Band!!!! I am sooo proud!
We are havin' game night tonight with the Woodens, A.K.A, super duper fun! On Thursday, we (Mom, brother Sam, and I) are going Monroe, or FUNROE!!!(us Kirbys are sarcasm ROYALTY!), on Thursday for Christmas!
I guess that that is all that is goin' on... my life is slow, isn't it. :( I super-promise that I will try to post SOMETHING a little more often. The key word there is TRY, though, so I make no promises. Until then, SEE YA!!!!!

Driving!- My First Ever Blog Post!

Let me see... this blogging thing is interesting. It'll probably fall by the wayside within the next week, but maybe not. We shall see. It depends on how much I like it. Well, I guess I should tell of the things I did today, to be all bloggy and such.
The high point- and really the only "point"- of my day was this: I have officially started learning to drive!! I still have two and a half years or so until I'm even eligible for a permit, but whatever! I can drive on my dad's little dirt road until then. Driving is so strange, but really satisfying, too, since I woke up this morning without knowing AT ALL how to drive, and now at least knowing a little. (Really, only a teeny-tiny bit. I barely even used the gas pedal. Only a little bit as experiments.) I am so happy for my self! Fun, fun!

Well, other than driving, I didn't do anything special today, but I don't really mind that! It is only the third day of summer, after all. See ya!
Oh! And I almost forgot! (Well I did forget, but then I edited the post. Hah!) The Jon and Kate Plus Eight season premiere was tonight at eight!!!! I didn't get to see it because my dad just has basic channels, but it will be a nice little treat to see an all-new episode on a Tuesday!! All I know is that they have a new set that I cheated and looked at on the TLC website yesterday, and that the new episode was about the sextuplets' fifth birthday and whether or not Jon and Kate are divorcing. Please, please don't with an extra-tasty cherry on top! That would wreck your kids' lives! :( Well, at least there is a new season to be excited about! And happy Memorial Day to all!!
